One really puny contractor said, "wow, you're really tall!" and I just replied with, "well, we can't all be as short as you." I'm still amazed that in today's society people are shocked to see tall women (I'm 5'11" by the way). Wanted to comment on Kiana's entry, hope you're still looking at this site and maybe this will help you. I have always been tall, 6', hit my max in high school and it was a small town so naturally I was the tallest girl. Add to this red hair and freckles, and I can tell you my self esteem was horrible. I was depressed all the time and used to cry myself to sleep because I was so different. Then one night I had a dream that God spoke to me and told me the only way he could make me smaller was to put me in a wheel chair. I am not a religous person, nor am I crazy. Do I believe God spoke to me? I don't know, (I wish I was that special), but what I do know is that it helped me to accept the one thing I could not change and gave me some perspective on what is important. I am 47 now and on occasion I wish I wasn't as tall as I am, mostly when I have to shop, and I would probably hate that still if I were short. What I can tell you is that had I known in my 20's what power I had being tall and a red head, wow... not sure what I would have done but the options were there, just to naive to see them (probably a good thing). Blogs like this one and the amazona blog help heaps telling us where to go and www.tallwomen.org is a great resoource for us to know where to shop...
